Nearly three decades on, the murders of Julie Jones and the disappearance of Helen Sage continue to haunt Manchester. Both young mothers working the city’s red-light district in the summer of 1998, one was brutally killed and the other vanished without trace and police have never ruled out the chilling possibility that the same killer was responsible.
