MANILA, Philippines — A total of 23 flights to and from West Asia, more commonly known as Middle East, have been canceled, while three were diverted as a result of the tensions in the region, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (Caap) reported. Caap cited “safety considerations and airspace restrictions” as reasons behind the flight cancellations and diversions.
