"Hundreds took to the streets of Baghdad on Saturday evening in a show of support for the Iranian people after the United States and Israel launched joint military operations against Iran. Footage shows protesters marching through the city with Iranian flags and photos of late Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei while chanting, 'America is the enemy of God' and 'never to humiliation.' "Our heart and soul are with Iran and we support the Islamic Republic given that this Islamic Republic once supported Iraq and the Iraqi people in their fierce battles against ISIS and the American occupation," said Sayyed Adel Al Mawsawi, a clergyman. "If they really dare, let them face us face to face, not bombing us. God willing, we will respond also with strikes and attacks as we are right and we will always be right," added Yousef Samaan, a protester. The United States and Israel launched a joint attack on Iran on Saturday, with US President Donald Trump vowing to "destroy their missiles and raze their missile industry to the ground". In response, Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps said that 'widespread missile and drone and attacks' against Israel were underway. US bases were also reportedly targeted in UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Iraq and Kuwait. The escalation comes after the third US-Iran nuclear talks concluded in Geneva on Thursday, which the Iranian Foreign Minister described as 'one of the most serious rounds.'"
