The US military said on Sunday an Iranian Jamaran-class corvette was struck by American forces at the start of Operation Epic Fury, adding that the vessel is now sinking in the Gulf of Oman near a pier in Chah Bahar.US Central Command (CENTCOM) said on X that the strike occurred during the opening phase of the operation.“As the President said, members of Iran’s armed forces, IRGC and police ‘must lay down your weapons.’ Abandon ship,” CENTCOM wrote.
