Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis has concluded a video conference with the heads of Greek Embassies and Consulates in Iran and the Middle East, the foreign ministry announced on Sunday. The foreign minister was briefed about the exceptionally difficult situation prevailing on the ground, with the meeting focusing on issues relating to the safety of Greek citizens, their stay and the management of requests for repatriation that are submitted via the platform activated for each authority. Gerapetritis issued instructions for the immediate and safe return of all citizens that wish to come back, as soon as flights resume.
