"A senior delegation from Abu Dhabi has visited the Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC) to assess the condition of individuals injured in regional events in the Middle East. Footage shows the high-level delegation, which included the Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police, Major General Ahmed Saif bin Zaitoun Al Muhairi, who also heads the Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Team, and Mansour Al Mansour, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Department of Health, speaking with the injured and the medical staff. The Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported that the delegation received a detailed briefing from medical staff on the cases that were admitted and the approved treatment plans. According to the agency, the delegation affirmed that the Emirate's healthcare sector is operating at full capacity, supported by clear emergency response protocols and an effective coordination system among health, security, and service authorities. This comes amid escalating tensions in the region after the United States and Israel launched a joint attack on Iran on Saturday, followed by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announcing 'large-scale missile and drone attacks' against Israel, with reports indicating that US bases in the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, Iraq, and Kuwait were targeted."
