PNP complies with SC ruling on ‘plain view’ searches

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Monday said it will comply with a Supreme Court (SC) ruling that items seized during a lawful warrantless arrest are admissible as evidence in court, even if they were not initially visible to the arresting officers.
