Indonesia’s January coal export volume down 2.9% yr/yr

JAKARTA: Indonesia shipped 29.54 million metric tons of coal in January, down 2.87% from a year earlier, statistics bureau data showed on Monday, with the shipments valued at $1.82 billion. The bureau’s figures are based on reports from the customs office. The data may differ from those provided by the Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry, which are based on reports from mining companies.
