Hilton, Marriott, IHG under UK scrutiny in data probe

Britain's competition watchdog is investigating major hotel groups Hilton, InterContinental Hotels, and Marriott. The probe also includes data firm CoStar. Regulators suspect these companies may be sharing sensitive information. This practice could reduce competition and affect consumer prices. CoStar and IHG are cooperating with the inquiry. Marriott and Hilton have not yet commented.
