The Ministry of Foreign Affairs urges Austrian citizens, in light of the attacks in the Middle East and the Gulf region, to register for travel, stay in accommodations, and follow the instructions of local authorities. According to spokesperson Clemens Mantl, there are currently 17,700 Austrians in the region, of which 2,600 are registered.
