Ghanem Al Otaibi, official spokesperson for Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) and Kuwait Integrated Petroleum Industries Company (KIPIC), announced that debris fell at the Mina Al Ahmadi refinery early Monday morning, resulting in minor injuries to two workers. In a press statement carried by Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Al Otaibi said the incident was dealt with immediately in accordance with approved safety and security procedures. The injured workers were transferred to Al Adan Hospital to receive the necessary medical care. He confirmed that both are in stable condition and remain under medical observation. Al Otaibi affirmed that refinery operations and production were not affected and continued without disruption. Emergency teams responded promptly and activated the rapid response plan, implementing all precautionary measures to ensure the safety of personnel and facilities, with no material damage reported. He added that the Mina Al Ahmadi refinery is operating at its normal capacity, with the highest priority given to the safety of personnel across all sites.
