The Electoral Commission of Ghana has assured voters in Ayawaso East Constituency that all arrangements are in place for Tuesday’s by-election, promising a free, fair and transparent poll. Director of Research at the EC, Fred Tetteh, gave the assurance in an interview with JoyNews on Monday, March 2, ahead of the parliamentary contest. “Let me assure the voting public in Ayawaso East that in terms of logistics and materials such as the registers, the BVDs, verification machines and ballot boxes, everything that goes with the election process is ready,” he said.
