There were no confirmed reports of exact numbers killed at time of publication. The US and Israel first attacked Iran on Saturday morning, with airstrikes continuing on Sunday and Monday. Tehran said it was responding with strikes on Israel and US assets in the region, with strikes reported in countries right across the Gulf region. The US side confirmed four deaths of military personnel on Monday. Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was confirmed dead in a strike on Saturday. It comes after a number of rounds of talks between the Americans and Iranians."
