Kaye Abad has isolated herself at her home for several days now after she contracted herpangina, a viral illness that is similar to hand, foot and mouth disease. Herpangina, as per Cleveland Clinic, is a contagious illness that causes high fever and blister-like sores in the mouth and throat.
