Senior research associate at the Institute of International Politics and Economics in Belgrade, Aleksandar Mitic, assessed that the uncertainty surrounding the election of the President is a “coordinated game” between key political actors in Kosovo, but pointed out that Vjosa Osmani’s status in the West is causing concern for Prime Minister Albin Kurti.
