Direct strike - Smoke rises over building in Sidon as Israeli Army hits 'compound used by Hezbollah'

"The Israeli military carried out an airstrike on a building in Sidon in southern Lebanon on Tuesday, after issuing a warning to evacuate the site. Footage shows the moment of the strike, with flames and thick smoke rising from the site. Earlier, the army told residents in the nearby Tyre area that it would soon target what it called 'Hezbollah military infrastructure,' claiming the group was trying to rebuild its activity there. Israel and Hezbollah have traded strikes since Monday. Israel launched attacks on southern Lebanon and Beirut's southern suburbs, saying it was responding to Hezbollah strikes. That group said it was retaliating for the killing of Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei at the weekend.  The US and Israel attacked Iran on Saturday morning. Tehran said it was responding with strikes on Israel and US assets in the region, with explosions reported in countries right across the Gulf region. Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was confirmed dead in a strike on Saturday. It comes after a number of rounds of talks between the Americans and Iranians."
