Freedom of religion

The middle of February I received the following email from the president of the Muslim Students Association on our campus: "I am writing to request permission to post flyers on campus on behalf of our organization, I want to be sure we are fully compliant with campus policies. I look forward to your guidance. The flyer is attached." Long, long ago I enrolled in a course titled Religion 101. It was most interesting and found myself to be comfortable with most denominations and religious organizations, a bit like George Bernard Shaw who stated “I am a sort of collector of religions: and the curious thing is that I find I can believe in them all.” I'm a Catholic Christian now, but not a rude iconoclast. However, for the most part, my own solitary mind is my own church and it is just about all the religion that I want. But, I'm OK with most Protestant denominations and even Islamism, Korean Buddhism (Mahayana) and Shamanism (Musok) which I experienced when living on Jeju Island. Most of the new religions and denominations that have emerged since the early 1990s, I have not looked into.
