A 20-something woman, who was recently arrested for killing two men by giving them drugged drinks at motels in Seoul, has been diagnosed as a psychopath, police said Wednesday. The woman, whose identity has been withheld except for her surname, Kim, is accused of killing the two men and injuring another man with drug-laced drinks between last December and January. She was transferred to the prosecution last month for further investigation and indictment. According to the Seoul Gangbuk Police Station, Kim met the criteria for antisocial personality disorder in the Hare Psychopathy Checklist-Revised test, a 20-item clinical rating scale assessing coldness, impulsivity, lack of empathy, irresponsibility and other personality traits. A score of 25 or more out of 40 points is considered psychopathic, and Kim reportedly got a score above the standard in her test. The police said they immediately sent the test results to the prosecution.
