"Hundreds of protesters gathered on Tuesday outside the Iranian Embassy in Caracas to express their rejection of recent military attacks by the United States and Israel against the Islamic country. Footage shows demonstrators walking through the streets until reaching the embassy, waving flags, holding portraits of the late Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and shouting slogans such as 'United peoples will never be defeated', 'Iran, friend. Palestine is with you' and 'Trump, genocidal, your day will come'. During the demonstration, the Iranian ambassador in Venezuela, Ali Chegini, through his translator, expressed his outrage over the attacks and stated that Iran are a 'pacifist people who have never attacked anyone'. "A people for whom achieving martyrdom is the highest, elevated victory. So, a people with this dignity, a people with these principles and this courage will never bow to imperialists," he added. Hindu Anderi, coordinator of the International Platform of Solidarity with the Palestinian Cause, pointed out that the people of Iran 'are being subjected to the barbarity that American imperialism is accustomed to' and denounced that Israel supports these actions, calling it a 'terrorist and colonial regime'. Tensions escalated in the Middle East after the United States and Israel launched joint military operations against Iran on Saturday, with President Donald Trump vowing to "raze their missile industry to the ground". Tehran responded with a series of missile and drone strikes targeting Israel and US military bases in the Gulf. On Sunday, Iranian state television confirmed that Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed in strikes carried out on Saturday. The Supreme Leader, who had ruled since 1989, held ultimate authority over Iran's political, military and religious institutions. Iranian officials warned that Khamenei's killing would mark a turning point, with the Revolutionary Guard vowing retaliation and declaring that "this great crime will not go unpunished". The escalations follow three recent rounds of nuclear talks between Iranian and American officials, one held in Muscat and two in Geneva."
