MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. may consider studying a proposal to adopt a four-day workweek as part of the government’s efforts to save energy as conflict in the Middle East intensifies, according to Malacañang. In a briefing on Wednesday, Palace press officer Claire Castro said the President could look into the suggestion, especially if the tensions in the Middle East persist and worsen. “At present, the President may study the suggestion, especially if the conflict between Israel and Iran escalates,” she added.
