OWWA: 1,189 OFWs seek repatriation amid Middle East tensions

MANILA, Philippines — At least 1,189 overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) have requested repatriation from several Middle East countries, the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) said Wednesday, as authorities ramp up assistance in anticipation of more arrivals.
