MANILA, Philippines — The perjury case filed by Vice President Sara Duterte against her alleged former aide Ramil Madriaga won’t affect the impeachment proceedings against her, Bicol Saro party-list Rep. Terry Ridon said on Wednesday. The affidavit of Madriaga submitted before the Office of the Ombudsman last year were cited in the two impeachment complaints against Duterte which are under deliberations of the House committee on justice.  Duterte on Wednesday filed a perjury complaint against Madriaga at the Office of the City Prosecutor of Taguig.
