Online classes, work from home pushed to cut power costs

MANILA, Philippines — Online class and work-from-home setups have been suggested to be adopted to reduce power expenses. Parañaque 2nd District Rep. Brian Raymund Yamsuan pushed for these moves amid fears that tensions due to the Middle Eastern conflict might escalate further. Yamsuan, in a statement on Wednesday said the government must act fast to ease the burden of workers and students who rely on private vehicles and public transportation — as the price of petroleum products may spike if strikes continue.
