Qatari authorities have initiated the temporary evacuation of residents living in the immediate vicinity of the US Embassy in Doha. The Ministry of Interior (MoI) announced the move early Thursday morning, describing it as a precautionary measure designed to prioritise public safety. Relevant government agencies are overseeing the relocation process. To support those affected, officials confirmed that suitable alternative accommodation has already been arranged under the state’s preventive action plan. The MoI has further advised the public to remain vigilant and avoid the area until further notice. Residents are strongly urged to rely exclusively on official government channels and trusted media outlets for any further updates regarding the situation.
