MANDAUE CITY, Cebu — The Mandaue City government has created a task force that will conduct regular inspections and monitoring of basic commodity prices to help ensure price stability. The task force was formed during a meeting of the city’s Local Price Monitoring Council on Thursday, March 5, 2026. The meeting was convened by Mayor Thadeo Jovito “Jonkie” Ouano and presided over by Executive Secretary Atty. Riczen Gingoyon.
