BI arrests South Korean wanted for fraud in Batangas

MANILA, Philippines — A South Korean national who is the subject of an International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) red notice for alleged fraud was arrested in Batangas, the Bureau of Immigration (BI) said Thursday. According to the BI in a statement, the fugitive—identified as 62-year-old Kim Yong Cheol—was arrested along the Tagaytay–Nasugbu Highway in Barangay Niyugan, Laurel, Batangas on March 4 pursuant to a mission order.
