GB News beats rivals again to remain Britain’s Number One News Channel

GB News is celebrating yet another standout month of ratings success – after new BARB data confirmed the channel as Britain’s number one. Official figures for February show GB News once again outperformed both the BBC News Channel and Sky News, reinforcing its position at the top of the UK news broadcasting market. GB News recorded an average audience of 99,000 viewers during February, representing a 13% increase on January and delivering a 1.54% audience share. The results place GB News significantly ahead of its competitors. The BBC News Channel recorded 78,400 average viewers, equating to a 1.22% share, while Sky News trailed behind in third place with 71,300 viewers and a 1.11% share. Overall, GB News ended the month 27% ahead of the BBC News Channel in average viewership and a massive 38% ahead of Sky News. GB News has now beaten both the BBC News Channel and Sky News in seven of the last eight months on average audience and audience share.
