'Thank you for bringing us back' - 300 soldiers return to Ukraine after latest PoW swap with Russia

"Russia and Ukraine carried out a new prisoner exchange under a '300 for 300' formula. Footage captured on Friday shows released prisoners arriving in Ukraine by bus, disembarking, and posing for photographs with the national flag. "[Thank you] for not forgetting about us and for bringing us back," one of the returnees commented. "Thank you for your help. Thank you for bringing us out. Thank you to everyone, to all the services," another added. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that in addition to the 300 servicemen, two civilians also returned to Ukraine. According to him, most of them had spent more than a year in Russian captivity, with some held since 2022. The Russian Defence Ministry also confirmed the exchange, saying it took place with the participation of the United States and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The returning Russian servicemen are currently in the Republic of Belarus, where they are receiving necessary psychological and medical assistance."
