MANILA, Philippines — Three areas are forecast to experience the highest heat index at 40°C on Saturday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.  According to Pagasa’s heat index, the following areas are: Dumangas, Iloilo; Borongan, Eastern Samar; and Cotabato City, Maguindanao. These areas are also under the “extreme caution” category, where heat index ranges from 33°C to 41°C.
