Q: Recently, I was left a little bit of money as an inheritance. It’s not much, but enough for a holiday to a place that I’ve wanted to go to. The concern which I am having is that I want to go there on my own, and I have a partner. I always envisioned going to this place on my own for many reasons. He wants to come with me, and says that he will leave me alone during the day to do my own thing, but then we could then spend the evenings and nights together. I just don’t want him to come at all. I don’t think he would enjoy any of it, as he is not a great traveller and just likes a lot of different things to me. I don’t normally mind that, and I like that we have space to do our own thing. But I just don’t want him on this trip.
