Emirates back to 60% capacity as Middle East flights resume

MANILA, Philippines — Emirates said it has restored nearly 60 percent of its global route network as of March 7, as regional airspace gradually reopens following recent disruptions. Additionally, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) flag carrier said it expects to return to full operations “within the coming days.” Still, this will still depend on airspace availability and operational requirements. By March 7, Emirates expects to be operating 106 daily return flights to 83 destinations, marking a significant ramp-up from earlier suspensions.
