"Hundreds of women rallied in Karachi on Friday, denouncing the US-Israeli offensive against Iran and the assassination of the country's late Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. Footage captures the protesters marching while holding red revenge flags and photos of Khamenei and chanting slogans such as 'Israel is unacceptable' and 'Never to humiliation,' among others. "What did you think, you will kill our Supreme Leader, and we would stay silent at our homes? Will I be scared? Come and see here, these mothers and sisters have come out of their homes without any fear," stated protester Syeda Muazimah. "You can behead us, but we will never bow down to you; we are not cowards who hide in caves,” she added. Another mourner says Khamenei will be remembered as a 'stealth wall' against US and Israeli aggression. "We promise to the soul of Khamenei that we will continue his mission. Our belief is stronger after his martyrdom. A martyr never dies," said protester Syeda Zainab Rizvi. Similar protests have swept through many countries, including Lebanon, Iraq, India, and Bangladesh, where participants voiced grief over the killing of the Iranian Supreme Leader and censured the US-Israeli strikes on Iran. The United States and Israel launched a joint attack on Iran on Saturday morning. Tehran then announced retaliatory strikes on Israel and the US assets in the region. Explosions were reported in different Gulf countries. The killing of Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei in a strike on Saturday was later confirmed. The escalation follows multiple rounds of nuclear talks between Iranian and American officials."
