'Brutal and treacherous!' - Hundreds rally in Baghdad condemning US-Israeli strikes on Iran

"Hundreds of people gathered in Baghdad on Friday evening for a mass rally condemning the US-Israeli attack on Iran, part of a wave of protests across the country. Footage shows demonstrators holding portraits of the late Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and chanting slogans including, 'No, no to America, no, no to Israel'. “Through this blessed stand and rally against America and Israel, we demonstrate to our brutal and treacherous enemy that we will neither surrender nor tolerate humiliation. We will persist in resistance against America and Israel,” said clergyman Nassif Al Kaabi. Similar demonstrations have taken place in several countries, including Lebanon, Pakistan, India and Bangladesh. The United States and Israel launched a joint attack on Iran on Saturday morning. Tehran later announced retaliatory strikes against Israel and US assets in the region, with explosions reported across several Gulf countries. Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was later confirmed killed in a strike on Saturday. The escalation followed multiple rounds of nuclear talks between Iranian and American officials."
