LUCENA CITY, QUEZON, Philippines — The Department of Environment and Natural Resources Office (DENR) in the Bondoc Peninsula district of Quezon province recorded an increase in migratory bird species during last month’s Asian Waterbird Census. “Compared to last year, migratory bird species increased from 25 to 29 across the three sites, reflecting seasonal migration patterns,” the Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (Cenro) based in Catanauan town said in a recent report.
