Another batch of Pinoys return from Dubai, Jeddah

MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) and the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) announced another batch of Filipinos returning from the Middle East, amid the ongoing conflict in the region. On Sunday morning, OWWA, on its Facebook page, said that 65 overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and three dependents arrived in the country from Dubai, United Arab Emirates via Emirates Flight EK 334, which landed at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3. Late on Saturday, the DMW said that 19 OFWs returned to the country safely from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, through coordination with the Migrant Workers Office (MWO) in the city. According to the DMW and the MWO, they were supposed to return home last March 3, but their flight was delayed because of the conflict.
