IRIGA CITY — The provincial government of Camarines Sur has launched an anti-flood and Green Embankment Project aimed at protecting flood-prone and coastal communities. Gov. Luis Raymund “LRay” Villafuerte Jr. led the rollout of the initiative on Friday, March 6, dubbed “Aksyon Kontra Baha,” in the towns of Garchitorena and Milaor. Provincial workers and residents joined the cleanup drives and tree-planting activities. Villafuerte said clearing waterways would improve water flow and help reduce flooding.
