For our prayers to be effective, we must pray God’s words. Praying God’s word is knowing what the words and promises of God are, then offering them back to him in prayer. To do this, we must read, meditate, search and appropriate his Word. The power and the glory of God come when we appreciate and personalise his words. The Word of God is the will and mind of God. And He does nothing outside His will. “ We can be confident that he will listen to us whenever we ask him for anything in line with His will.” 1John 5:14. Now, how can we know His will?
