PSEi sinks nearly 4% on escalating Middle East conflict

MANILA, Philippines – Philippine stocks fell sharply in early trading on Monday as escalating tensions in the Middle East triggered a broad risk-off mood across global financial markets. As of 9:50 a.m., the benchmark Philippine Stock Exchange Index (PSEi) tumbled 235.23 points or 3.72 percent to 6,085.18.
