MANILA, Philippines — Fare increases for passenger jeepneys and buses in Metro Manila has been approved by the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB). This is to provide a lifeline to drivers reeling from the ever-rising price of diesel, which is expected to breach the P100 per liter mark this week.
