TACLOBAN CITY — Government troops discovered the decomposing body of a suspected New People’s Army (NPA) leader following an armed encounter in Hinabangan, Samar, last Friday, March 14. Soldiers from the 63rd Infantry Battalion found the remains between Barangays Cabalagnan and Tabay while pursuing two fleeing members of the Sub-Regional Committee (SRC) Sesame, according to a report from the 8th Infantry Division based in Catbalogan City, Samar.
