PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga del Sur – A fire erupted Monday morning inside the Regional Center Site in Barangay Balintawak, right beside the Bureau of Treasury building, prompting residents and nearby workers to rush to the scene. Witnesses said individuals from a food stall located directly beside the burning house immediately threw buckets of water while waiting for the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) to arrive.   Thick smoke was seen billowing from the area, raising concerns among employees of nearby government offices and small businesses.
