Flights at Dubai International Airport (DXB) have been temporarily suspended as a precautionary measure after a drone incident in the vicinity of the airport caused a fire at one of the fuel tanks, the Dubai Media Office said early Monday.“Dubai Civil Aviation Authority announces the temporary suspension of flights at Dubai International Airport as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of all passengers and staff,” the office said in a post on X.“Dubai Civil Defense teams have successfully contained the fire resulting from impact to one of the fuel tanks in the vicinity of Dubai International Airport. No injuries have been reported,” the Dubai Media Office later said.As a result of the development, Dubai Airports announced that some flights from Dubai International Airport will be diverted to Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC).Travelers were advised to contact their respective airlines for latest updates.Dubai Police also announced on X that there were road closures at Cargo
