MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) will dispatch nearly 55,000 personnel nationwide as part of its security preparations for the Ligtas Summer Vacation (SUMVAC) 2026. This deployment is for the safety of the travelers and residents during the Holy Week and the peak summer travel season. A total of 54,989 personnel will be mobilized nationwide for the operation, which will run from March 29 to May 31, 2026, said Col.
