MANILA, Philippines — A lawmaker filed on Monday a House resolution urging the government to impose a 50-percent reduction on highway tolls in view of continuous spike in oil prices. Manila 2nd District Rep. Rolando Valeriano, chairperson of the House committee on public order, filed House Resolution No. 879 to reduce the tolls while fuel prices in the world market are above P80-per barrel.
