A police probe has been launched after a man were seen in a video selling numbers to passengers who line up to take the Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) bus from Ocho Rios, St Ann to Half-Way Tree, St Andrew. In the video, which was posted on TikTok, a man stated that persons who want to secure a seat on the bus and avoid standing can buy a number so as to get an easier ride. He stated that he works during the morning, while another man does afternoons. However, the JUTC, in a statement today, said such action is unauthorised.
