FAISALABAD: According to the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, steps have been taken to make Faisalabad the first circular economy city of Pakistan, for which the divisional administration, industry and academia will partner. In this regard, a working group has also been formed, the chairperson of which will be the Commissioner of Faisalabad Division, and timelines have been set for zero waste. An important meeting was held under the chairmanship of Commissioner Faisalabad Raja Jahangir Anwar. The Commissioner said that this initiative will not only utilize the waste of industry but also agriculture. Employment opportunities will increase with the establishment of new industries.
