Footage shows Kim and officials touring the Memorial Museum of Combat Feats at Overseas Military Operations in Pyongyang, which is in the final stages of construction. The site is intended to honour troops who, according to official accounts, were involved in overseas operations alongside Russia. During the inspection, Kim was briefed on the museum’s exhibition halls and layout, expressing satisfaction with both the construction and the messaging of the displays. The museum is expected to open as early as next month. According to the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), Kim provided 'on-site guidance' and was told construction is around 93 percent complete. The agency reported that the opening is planned to coincide with the anniversary of the 'liberation' of Kursk, expected in late April. State media said the museum includes a section dedicated to fallen soldiers and an exhibition of captured weapons. Kim described the project as having 'important significance', saying it should reflect the highest standards of DPRK architecture and art, and commemorate the 'matchless bravery and mass heroism' of troops involved in overseas missions. KCNA also reported that Kim has made multiple visits to the site since construction began in October, at times appearing alongside his wife Ri Sol-ju and daughter Kim Ju-ae."
