After a fatal traffic accident in October of last year, a 19-year-old was sentenced on Tuesday in St. Pölten to a suspended prison sentence of 14 months and a fine of 1,920 euros. The verdict for grossly negligent homicide and negligent serious bodily injury is final. The accused had been driving without a license and under the influence of alcohol with a friend's car near Ferschnitz (Amstetten district), resulting in the death of a 17-year-old passenger.
