Major home appliance maker Coway has launched new ice water dispensers to cement its dominance in the domestic market for the popular appliance. The company said Wednesday that it has introduced four new stand-type ice water dispenser models designed for use in nonresidential settings. The new lineup targets a wide range of customers, including businesses of varying sizes and high-traffic public spaces. A key strength of the products is their significantly enhanced ice-making capacity, both in volume and speed. The top-tier model, Ice Stand 5.2, can store up to 5.2 kilograms of ice and produce up to 1,659 ice cubes — or 20 kilograms — per day, generating new ice every 12 minutes. According to the company, this represents a 94 percent increase in volume and a 31 percent improvement in production speed compared to its predecessor.
