DHAKA: Bangladesh has approved the purchase of two spot liquefied natural gas cargoes to address supply disruptions from the escalating U.S.-Israeli conflict with Iran, a Petrobangla official said. Bangladesh’s Rupantarita Prakritik Gas Company Ltd (RPGCL) had issued a tender seeking two cargoes of LNG for delivery in April 2026.
